Job Description
The Assistant Coach, Women’s National Sitting Team (WSNT) is a regular full-time position reporting to the women’s sitting team head coach/program director. This position is responsible for assisting the head coach with all aspects of the women’s sitting program to include, management of specific program matters, logistics, athlete selection and training, program development, athlete housing and video assessment. Extensive domestic and international travel is required.
Cross departmental support is a general expectation of all USAV employees. Additional hours may be required to include nights, weekends, and holidays. This position is located in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
• Create and administer training plans for all women’s national sitting team (WSNT)athletes consistent with the periodization plan.
• Oversee and run daily resident practices.
• Support non-resident WSNT athletes training, monitor weekly training video submissions and provide feedback.
• Track athlete attendance and training. Submit detailed monthly training reports.
• Assist with recruiting, evaluating, and selecting athletes into the Women’s Sitting National Team program and SNTDP pipeline.
• Join the sitting program director on all Meet and Greet video calls with prospective female athletes.
• Prepare and distribute weekly WSNT communications.
• Assist with coordinating all WSNT competitions and camps.
• Prepare flight/transportation schedules for camps and competitions. Coordinate and provide airport pickups as needed.
• Manage full scope of Mizuno/VIK ordering, inventory, and distribution.
• Coordinate the use of resident housing with the HP Sitting Program Director.
• Support personal and media appearance requirements.
• Support the sitting program director to ensure compliance with USAV, USOC and UCO policies.
• Submit reports to HP sitting program director for necessary releases, web site updates and stories, news and magazine articles and media publications.
• Provide input and recommendations regarding office, gymnasium, media, and other operational needs.
• Produce accurate weekly reconciliation reports.
• Assist the HP sitting program director in program management matters.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in sports administration, coaching, physiology, exercise science, education, or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years coaching at the elite junior, collegiate, national or international level; or the equivalent in competition and sport management.
• Exhibits experience with various coaching and instructional techniques to maximize learning across the physical, tactical, technical, and mental aspects of player development.
• Demonstrates an understanding of and interest in applying measurement and analysis techniques.
• Proven ability to promote sport performance.
• Demonstrated leadership of athletes and support staff.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and working knowledge of computer programs.
• Experience using volleyball statistical software is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations including athletes, coaches, administrative staff, and medical personnel in a high stress environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to successfully pass a USAV background screening (prior to hire date).
• Must successfully complete SafeSport training within two weeks of hire date.
Salary: $50,000-$54,000

Job Description
The Assistant, Content Writer is a temporary (May 1 – Sep 1), part-time position (20 hrs./week) that creates content for USA Volleyball teams, programs and events. Content creation includes writing, updating and publishing digital content for the USA Volleyball website, social media, newsletters, etc., and working with our digital asset management platform. This position will help in remotely covering national team events, age-group national team events, and other events on social media and the website, requiring weekend, holiday and evening hours. USA Volleyball headquarters are located in Colorado Springs, CO, and additional offices are located in Anaheim, CA, Torrance, CA, and Edmond, OK, but this role has the option to be a remote position.

• Content creation for USA Volleyball digital media channels to engage, inform and connect with key stakeholders while promoting programs, events and teams.
- Post social media content including caption copywriting, updating graphics, photo selection and editing.
- Write features and event recaps for teams, domestic and international events, athletes and programs (including grassroots volleyball, officials, education, clubs, regions and National Team Development Program).
- Provide onsite coverage and support at select USA Volleyball events depending on location, including taking and posting photos and video to social media, and using production-quality video cameras to capture B-roll; liaison with local media
• Update the USA Volleyball website, including results, page and event adjustments, adding stories, resources and events.
• Assist with strategic marketing and communications campaigns as needed.
• Contribute to organizational photo and video asset management.

Qualifications
• Experience with WordPress or similar content management system.
• Experience posting to and writing captions for social media including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
• Experience with email software such as Campaigner or Constant Contact.
• Experience writing sports articles for publication.
• Knowledge of Associated Press style.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on Photoshop.
• Ability to work odd hours for event coverage, including nights, weekends and holidays..
• Must be able to successfully pass a USAV background screening (prior to hire date).
• Must successfully complete SafeSport training within two weeks of hire date and remain current.
Salary: $15-$17/hour

Job Description
The Coordinator, Beach National Team Development Program (BNTDP) is a regular full-time position reporting to the Senior Manager of BNTDP. This position coordinates essential activities, projects and logistics for beach youth and junior national team programs to align with the NTDP mission to identify, recruit and accelerate the development of high-potential youth volleyball players to strengthen our national team programs to achieve sustained competitive excellence. Extended hours and travel are expected to include nights, weekends and holidays.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a growth mindset, the ability to handle multiple competing demands, and can accommodate an extensive domestic travel schedule. Some international travel may also be required. This position also requires the ability to work on the beach in varied weather conditions including heat, sun, wind, rain and cold for non-traditional work hours.
This position is located in Torrance, Calif.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
• Coordinate the implementation of the beach youth and junior national team programs.
• Assist the senior manager BNTDP in evaluating and maximizing the effectiveness of the department.
• Provide oversite at regional, national and International BNTDP events and competitions as assigned.
• Work alongside the senior manager BNTDP and the boys lead to create actionable individual development programs for each player.
• Coordinate essential activities, projects, logistics and support of the BNTDP.
• Assist with the BNTDP event planning, organizing and scheduling.
• Manage all aspects of the girls beach NTDP depth chart.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for information and/or concerns expressed by female athletes and parents of female athletes.
• Assist the senior manager BNTDP with budgets, forecasts and periodic financial reviews.
• Collect results and feedback from BNTDP events, camps, and competitions, disseminate them to athletes, and update files and the website.
• Create and maintain event registrations and field questions regarding BNTDP.
• Work with BNTDP hosts to publicize events to members and non-members and to confirm schedules and logistics.
• Organize, pack and ship equipment for regional, national and international events. Track and maintain BNTDP equipment inventory.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in event management.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Exhibits excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Displays proficiency with computers and office productivity software.
• Demonstrates reliability and ability to perform under pressure.
• Must be a self-starter with initiative and a focus on details.
• Must be able to successfully pass a USAV background screening (before hire date).
• Must complete SafeSport training within two weeks of hire date. Training must be maintained throughout employment
Preferred Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in sport management or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Work experience within a collegiate, professional, or Olympic sports organization(s) is preferred.
• Exhibits experience with various coaching and instructional techniques to maximize learning across the physical, tactical, technical and mental aspects of player development.
• Demonstrates an understanding of and interest in applying measurement and analysis techniques.
Salary: $21.00-$24.00/hour

The Operations Assistant, National Team Development Program (NTDP) is a regular full-time position reporting to the Manager, NTDP. This position is responsible for safe efficient coordination and operation of warehouse logistics as well as assisting with essential NTDP activities. Cross departmental collaboration and support is a general expectation of all USAV employees.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a growth mindset and the aptitude to handle multiple tasks.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
•Organize, pack, and ship equipment for regional, national, and international events. Lead the receiving and tracking of NTDP gear and equipment inventory.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and is in accordance with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Work with warehouse staff to communicate warehouse activity processes within the NTDP.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Receive and process warehouse deliveries (notify, unload, label, store).
• Assist in overseeing the budget lines for all VIK and NTDP equipment, shipping, and supplies.
• Support NTDP event on-site logistics and operations with possible travel.
• Communicate effectively with NTDP athletes, families, coaches, staff, and USAV stakeholders.
• Produce transcripts and create subtitles for online learning modules.
• Respond or appropriately direct help desk tickets for customers encountering technical difficulties within the Learning Management System.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent GED level credential.
• Demonstrated proficiency with inventory software and database systems.
• Be able to safely and comfortably lift, transfer and store up to 50 pounds.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work within a team.
• Be a certified forklift operator or be willing to become certified
• Must be able to successfully pass a USAV background screening (before the hire date).
• Must successfully complete SafeSport training within two weeks of the hire date. Training must be maintained throughout employment.
