USA Volleyball has selected the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, to host the 2023 USA Volleyball Girls 18s Junior National Championship on April 28-30
Event Information
Penalty Fees up to $200 will be enforced for last match forfeitures, etc.
Q: Are there practice opportunities?
A: There will be practice times available at the convention center from 5pm to 8pm Thursday April 21st. Slots are first come, first serve

A: USA Volleyball will be providing warm-up balls or carts for rent. Balls can be checked out at the Championship Desk

A: Entry will be located on both the West Building off of Third Street
- Doors will open at 6:45 a.m. Once you have completed your work assignments and matches for the day please leave the facility

Q: What is the last-day forfeit policy?
A: A penalty of $100 will be issued for any last-day forfeits.

Q: What is the concession and seating policy?
A: No outside food, coolers or chairs are allowed in the convention center. The Phoenix Convention Center will be selling food in the venue and have made an effort to provide a good variety of options. Also a food hall in the North building

Competition Rules and Regulations
All spectators are required to purchase a spectator registration QR code for entry into the GJNC 18s. USAV is using an electronic system and the electronic spectator QR code and photo identification will be required for each entry and re-entry into the facility.

- 18 Open, National, USA, Liberty, American, Freedom – $900
- 18 Patriot – $800
Once a team has either accepted a bid or received a spot in the Patriot Division, they will be placed in an “OK to Pay” status. Only then will they be prompted for payment. Check or credit card is accepted.
Due to the recent changes in fees imposed by credit card merchants, all credit card payments will incur a $25 non-refundable convenience fee. There are no convenience fees for paying by check.
Refund Policy
Should a team need to cancel their registration from the national championship before the refund deadline date, a full refund of the entry fee will be given. The convenience fee is nonrefundable. The deadline to withdraw from the Patriot Division and to receive a full refund is March 25.
New in 2022: The addition of new divisions for GJNC 18s. The following is the ranking of divisions and what ages they are available for, starting with the most elite:

- Freedom
- Patriot
Coaches – Register through University Athlete. Please check in at Ticketing Help desk onsite. Proof of registration required.
Registration for the Patriot Division will open Wednesday, Dec 8, 2021, at 12 p.m. EST, through Advanced Event Systems (AES). The deadline to withdraw from the Patriot Division and to receive a full refund is March 25.
Housing
This is a Stay and Play event; all housing must be booked through Team Travel Source. (If you are a local team, please fill out the Exemption form listed on the TTS housing website.)

PLEASE NOTE: Teams will no longer need to create a roster in order to complete the initial registration process. Teams will not be able to Pay for GJNC 18s until they have been put into OK TO PAY status. Once a team has either accepted a bid or received a spot in the Patriot Division the will be placed in an “OK to PAY” Status.
ACCEPTANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Register for the event in AES
- Pay registration fee, either by check or credit card
- Submitted rosters are required in order to be fully accepted. Edits can still be made to the roster after acceptance.
- Complete housing through Team Travel Source (More information below)
All registration requirements need to be completed in order to be fully accepted into the event.
