- Be a currently registered member of USAV.
- Be at least 18 and less than 25 years of age on September 11, 2022.
- Athletes on a pair can be from different colleges/university.
- Priority will be given to teams as follows:
- Teams comprised of two athletes, from the same institution, who are athletes on the collegiate men’s teams (beach or indoor)
- Teams comprised of two athletes, from different institutions, who are athletes on their collegiate men’s teams (beach or indoor)
- Teams comprised of two athletes, who compete as members of their school’s indoor or beach volleyball club or intramural team
- Teams comprised of two athletes, who are team managers or assistants with their collegiate teams (men’s or women’s, indoor or beach)
- Meet one (1) of the following two (2) conditions:
- Be officially registered and progressing towards a degree or diploma at a university or similar institution whose status is recognized by the appropriate national academic authority of the United States. Student athletes must have taken at least one 3-credit course towards a degree or diploma within the last year before the event. The standard is that the athlete must be ‘progressing’ towards a degree.
OR
- Be former students of the institutions who have obtained their academic degree or diploma in the nine months preceding the event start date.
All deadlines are at 5 p.m. Pacific Time on the following dates
- Regular registration (by Aug. 27, 2022): $210.40 per team and one coach
- Late registration (by Sept.1, 2022): $333.99 per team and one coach
- Final day to withdraw with NO penalty: Sept.1, 2022
Teams are welcome to insert a “Place Holder” until teams are finalized. All athlete information MUST be entered by Sept. 1, 2022.
Coach/Medical Registration
All coaches and medical providers must register.
- Coaches and medical may register for free before Sept. 1, 2022
- Note: Athletes do not need a registered coach to participate.
- Coaches and medical personal must be USAV members, background screened and SafeSport trained.

USA Volleyball’s National Team Development Program wants to do its absolute best to support all athletes and their families through challenging times. As such, the NTDP will offer registration fee refunds for its events based on the following conditions.
**Note: If you purchased Regsaver insurance (optional add-on insurance policy offered by SportsEngine), you must first file a claim with the insurance company. If your claim is denied or if you did not purchase the insurance, please submit a refund request email to your training program lead.
Refund request 21 or more days before Day 1 of the event:
A request to withdraw from an NTDP event 21 days before day 1 of the event will be honored for the full amount minus a 3% credit card fee. This request should be made via email to your training program lead. If you have purchased the Regsaver insurance policy from SportsEngine, a copy of your claim’s denial will be needed to process your request.
Refund request 7-20 days before Day 1 of the event:
A request to withdraw from an NTDP event 7-20 days before the event will be honored at 50% of the total amount. This request should be made via email to your training program lead. If you have purchased the Regsaver insurance policy from SportsEngine, a copy of your claim’s denial will be needed to process your request.
Refund request less than seven days before Day 1 of the event:
Unfortunately, a request to withdraw from an NTDP event fewer than seven days before the event will not be honored with any refund amount.
Special circumstance and appeals process:
USA Volleyball and the NTDP do recognize that unforeseen circumstances can interfere with an athlete’s intention to participate in an NTDP event. As such, a process is available for families to request a review of the unforeseen circumstances related to an athlete’s need to withdraw and request a refund. To request a review, please complete this FORM. A review of your submission will take place within 14 days AFTER the event. There is no promise of any refund amount. The staff will review your case carefully and follow up with any additional questions or a decision.
