Indoor USAVplay Camps
USAVplay Indoor camps are five-day events allowing girls and boys ages U10-U15 (born between 2007-12) the opportunity to develop skills and confidence in a high energy environment. Camps will adopt the principles of small-sided games proven to help accelerate well-rounded development by increasing the number of opportunities athletes have to perform key skills during training and competition. Furthermore, these are not tryouts, and there is no expectation of being “seen” or recruited. These are purely about development and fun.
When possible, USAVplay will work to incorporate both beach and indoor opportunities at camps. These hybrid camps will follow the same principles and design but will allow young athletes to play both beach and indoor volleyball.
For each USAVplay camp, athletes will be grouped into waves based on their age as we evaluate the distribution in each registration. One example might be that U11-U12 athletes are in the early wave and the U13-U15 athletes are in the later wave. We will share these wave breakdowns no later than one full week before the camp start so that families can finalize travel plans as needed. Within those waves, athletes might be grouped based on age, gender, birthday, grade, and other similar ways.

These are not tryouts and there is no expectation of being “seen” or recruited. These are purely about development and fun.
