COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Sept. 4, 2020) – Ready to get outside? The USA National Beach Tour is back for the 2020-21 season with great reasons to hit the sand.

The USA National Beach Tour (NBT) is the United States’ premier junior beach volleyball tour with stops around the country. The 2020-21 edition kicks off with the Labor Day Classic Beach Regional Qualifier on Sept. 5 in Galveston, Texas, and the Chesapeake Wave Beach National Qualifier (BNQ) on Sept. 12-13 in Ocean City, Md.

The BNQs award Open Division bids to the USA National Beach Tour Junior Championship in four age groups (12U, 14U, 16U and 18U) in both genders. The top four pairs in each division will earn a spot into the championship.

BRQs provide bids to the American Division and the Open Division of the NBT Junior Championships.  The top three girls teams in each age group (U12, U14, U16 and U18) qualify for the American Division while the top three boys teams qualify for the Open Division.

The American Division is the second highest of all three NBT Junior Championships divisions.

Players can compete in multiple qualifiers to increase their chances of earning a coveted bid. New USA NBT events are being added to the calendar each week.

The USA National Beach Tour is focused on fun and competition, but also on safety as athletes and fans are required to follow local mandates for protection during the pandemic.
