A boy from Oklahoma Region prepares to serve

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (July 19, 2023) – Ninety girls and boys volleyball teams from various USA Volleyball regions are at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale this week for the All-Star Championship.

Hosted by the Florida Region, the competition begins July 20 and continues through July 23 for teams competing in six divisions for girls and two for boys. Twenty regions and one delegation from Canada are represented at the event.

“The Florida Region is honored to once again host the 2023 USA Volleyball All-Star Champs in Ft. Lauderdale,” Florida Region Commissioner Steve Bishop said. “This is the ninth time that we have hosted the event, eight times in Ft. Lauderdale and one time in Orlando. This is a legacy event that was started back in 2000 and has continued to grow. It’s great to have an increase in teams this year. We’re also honored to have two teams here from Canada. [Right now], 25 colleges have committed to attend, and we expect several more to join us in the coming days. The talent level is high, the atmosphere is electric, and everyone is ready for a great week of all-star volleyball here in the Sunshine State.”

All divisions will have an all-tournament team and MVP, selected by coaches. Officials are provided for all positions, participating regions have supplied Mentor & Mentee officials, and officials training sessions will be conducted throughout the event. Learn more about becoming an official.
